The essence of manhood and leadership is something that transcends education. It's very existence if forged in the fire of hard work, dedication and commitment to being your very best. Without question, that is what Curtis Pugh represents.
A Jacksonville native and a graduate from the renown William M. Raines High, Curtis has an indelible focus on doing and being his very best self. Upon entering the University of North Florida, Curtis joined Student Government, becoming the Sgt. at Arms, joined the African American Student Union and would go on to become a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
After completing his degree in Sports Management, Curtis would become a member of the United States Army and complete his Masters Degree in Sports Management at Florida A&M University. Curtis is currently on active duty with the Army and acts as the head of the Blue & Gray Bash subcommittee chairman and is responsible for increasing minority involvement with the Blue & Gray Bash during Homecoming/Black Alumni Weekend. Curtis has also recently been tapped to head the recently announced Swoop Olympics subcommittee, a new event to the BAA calendar that will take place in June 2019.
